Welcome to my blog!

My name is Tara Youssefi. I am very excited to begin this course, and my Master's program. 

I currently live in Baltimore, MD with my boyfriend, and am a second year kindergarten teacher. I have lived in Maryland my entire life and can't seem to get away!

I have had a passion for teaching ever since I was a child. I worked with children at daycare programs, summer camps, and theater productions throughout middle and high school. To pursue my dream, I went to Penn State University and received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. While I've discovered how challenging teaching can be, I have also witnessed how rewarding it is. I love having an impact on students lives and helping them in any way I can! 

In my spare time I love to read, create art projects, and watch movies. I also love to sing and dance, and my favorite Broadway musical is Wicked. I have been to 12 countries and love traveling. My goal is to get to every continent in my lifetime (finding the time is my largest hurdle).
