I love this quote, and what it resembles. Humans learn through social learning and modeling. If we do not translate our passion into teaching, the children become as uninterested and unmotivated as we are. If we show that we love what we do, they learn to love what they do as well.

This quote is the foundation of teaching. This course has taught us about the development of a child from infancy to middle childhood, and how to ensure they develop safely and properly. As a teacher, we are here to help children become confident, independent, and strong.

This quote resonates with me because as a teacher I find myself teaching life skills as well as curriculum. I teach children how to cooperate with others, enhance behavioral and social skills, and understand lifestyle concepts. Being a teacher is more than teaching a child how to read, write, and solve problems; it is about forming the future generation by teaching them how to live.
