    I like your link to conscious discipline. There are so many social emotional learning (SEL) programs to choose from! Do you use a program in your school and/or classroom? We don't follow any particular program, we just work on children recognizing their emotions and how to handle them. Seems like common sense to me. I also agree with the study from MSU. It does seem like literacy gets more attention than math and science in preschool and prekindergarten.
